Our Origins

Built on a career in mental health care

After an extensive career as a Mental Health Nurse in England, Stephen is relocating to Dundee to set up Resource Consult. The service is going through registration with the Care Inspectorate for Care at Home and Housing Support, with a longer term plan to develop a Supported Living service for adults with mental health needs. The aim is simple - to offer support that is clinically grounded, genuinely person-centred, and delivered at a pace that protects quality.

Resource Consult is not trying to be everything to everyone. The focus is on steady, reliable support for a small number of people at a time, with routines, communication, and clinical judgement that adults, families, and professionals can trust. Where a person's needs sit outside what we can safely deliver, we will say so and help point them toward the right service.
